2018 brought many great movies, and while we wait for them to be on the streaming platforms there are some movies that must be seen in the movie theatres. Whether you decide to stay at home and watch movies from the comfort of your home or go to a movie theatre, it is always a great idea to grab a bucket of popcorn and enjoy the new releases with some friends. While creating the list of Top-5 movies to watch in 2018 was so much fun, we had a tough time picking the best movies for this list. However, we brought to you a short but diverse list of movies.

These are the best movies in 2018 that  left us with so many feelings

1. Skate Kitchen

This American drama is a debut film written and directed by Crystal Moselle. The Moselle, previously directed a few shorts and documentaries. The movie follows a teenage girl as she joins the all-girls skate group. As we watch the main protagonist we get reminded about growing pains that every teenager goes through. What makes this movie even more interesting is that it was inspired by the real-life all-female skate group Skate Kitchen and also stars members of their crew.  

2. Black Panther

If you are more interested in action movies this blockbuster offers you over 2 hours of Marvel packed action. Black Panther movie brings us to the nation of Wakanda, where the superhero must save his country from being destroyed. If you are a fan of Marvel comics and movies, we don’t need to tell you that you should watch Captain America: Civil War prior to watching Black Panther.

3. Mission Impossible - Fallout

Tom Cruise is back on the silver screens with the action-packed sequel of Mission Impossible franchise. Searching for plutonium cores in Berlin to save the world from the fundamentalist group might sound like a mission impossible, but we leave it to Tom Cruise to show us once again why he is always given the hardest tasks.

4. Annihilation

Starring Natalie Portman, this movie connects science fiction with horror. When the biologist’s husband disappears while on an expedition to the mysterious zone, she applies to be a researcher to uncover what happened to her husband. The new expedition is made of the scientists that lead us into the zone where the laws of nature don’t apply. They will have to face the unknown and be prepared for the unexpected. The ending of the movie will leave you questioning everything!

5. You Were Never Really Here

If you are a fan of thrillers this movie might just be right for you. The movie follows a traumatized veteran who tracks missing girls for a living. When he accepts a job to find a teenage girl he discovers a web of corruption and abuse. While he is on the rescue mission he is struggling with his own demons - some of them are real and some of them are part of his imagination.
